The Army of God and the Body of Christ

The Army of God and the Body of Christ, to me, are not entirely the same. The Body of Christ, the way I see it, is like individuals in boot camp, where they are trained and nurtured until mature enough for battle. When promoted, they then also become part of the Army of God. The Army of God is a force to be reckoned with, made up of the mature, progressive members of the Body of Christ who are ready for battle and empowered with God’s authority.

On D-Day, some of the men had been out in their boats for three days, and were seasick before they ever hit the beaches. The Body of Christ is metaphorically on those ships right now. God has showed me that most of the Church is too focused on the storm. They are being tossed about, back and forth, and they are seasick—unable to advance to the next step.

I get a lot of emails and communications from people who are scared to death. They know something is coming, and they don’t know how to prepare. They are like those stuck on the boats, getting tossed about because they are too absorbed with the waves that are stirring. Anybody who has ever worked with me in the fire service knows that I’m very mission oriented. We must always focus on the mission and keep advancing. We can’t let obstacles or storms get in the way.

Others have been promoted out of these ships, and they are on the landing craft. No longer seasick, they are heading toward their goal—but all they see are the obstacles placed to keep the armory from coming onto the beach. They are frozen with fear and unaware of their own capabilities. Because of this, they are unable to move forward.

Then we have the Army of God. These members of the body of Christ have actually landed and are not focused on the storm. They’re on the beach, taking ground, and holding that ground. They see where needs are and step into those gaps. They are rallying to the cause and pressing in, no matter what.

That’s the difference.

America is going to be prosperous; America is going to flourish because of the seeds that it has sewn; and America will be central as the Gospel is spread from this point forward. God has told me this. This will be the end-time harvest. And it will have a domino effect. Just like the events on Omaha Beach that day in 1944, whatever happens in America will ripple throughout the earth.

If you are taking ground, press in. If you are stuck at an obstacle, look around you and get help. Don’t retreat. Take ground and hold it at all costs, and understand that no matter how unqualified you may feel, God can and will use you.

NOW IS THE TIME! Advance! Do not retreat. I like what General George Patton said: “I don’t like paying for the same real-estate twice.
